Fatima is the woman of the desert. When Santiago looked into her eyes, he notices the Language of the World. Coelho defines that love can be understood by anyone. Love can be understood by anyone because people from different countries around the world, love another person the same way. In The Alchemist, Coelho shows love in a way the readers can understand why love is the language of the world.
